Configure menu options in Access Evo Navigator

Set up and manage which Evo Navigator components are available to your users from the Navigator Configuration screen.

Menu Options Configuration gives security administrators and implementation consultants control over which Evo Navigator components are visible and active for each menu profile. You can enable components individually or all at once, and monitor their current status at a glance.

This feature is available to UK and Irish clients.

πŸ“ŒNote: Before you begin, ensure the following webservices have been added to your security profile: Get security profile options parentlinks, Get MFE, Get MFE availability, Get MFE config menu options, and Get MFE config modules. See the Menu options required section for full details.

Menu profiles

Two new menu profiles have been added to support Evo Navigator:

Access Evo Navigator Security β€” for security administrators. This profile includes access to parent links, MFE access, and the Navigator Configuration screen.

Access Evo Navigator Employee β€” for employees accessing Evo Navigator self-service components.

πŸ“ŒNote: These profiles are subject to change. As additional security administration options are introduced, or new Evo Navigator components go live, they will be added to the relevant profile. You are free to copy either profile and amend it to suit your organisation's requirements.

Access Navigator Configuration

1. From the Administrator Dashboard, select Site Manager.

2. Select Open next to Navigator Configuration.

3. Select the Menu Options Configuration tab.

Configure menu options

1. Select a menu profile from the Select a Menu Profile dropdown.

2. The Menu Options list displays all available Evo Navigator components for that profile, each showing a current status.

3. To enable a single component, select Enable next to it.

4. To enable all components at once, click Enable All.

πŸ“ŒNote: Status indicators show at a glance how each component is configured β€” Enabled (green) means the component and all its webservices are active; Partial (orange) means the component was enabled but one or more webservices have since been disabled within it; Disabled (red) means the component is not currently active.

A Partial status will only appear if the component was previously enabled and then individual webservices were manually disabled within it. It will not show for a component that has never been enabled.
