Submit a missed clocking request in Access Evo Navigator

Employees can submit a missed clocking request directly from Access Evo Navigator when they have forgotten to clock in or out, without needing to contact HR or navigate through multiple screens.

The Submit Missed Clocking quick action gives employees a self-service way to submit a missed clocking correction directly from the Access Evo Navigator tab. The form captures all required information and validates it against existing PeopleXD rules. On submission, the request is automatically routed to the manager approval workflow.

This feature is available to all clients.


Access the Submit Missed Clocking quick action

  1. Log in to Access Evo Navigator.

  2. From the Navigator tab, select the Submit Missed Clocking quick action.

  3. The Submit Missed Clocking right panel opens, displaying the missed clocking request form.


The missed clocking form

All fields in the missed clocking form are required. Complete the following fields to submit your request:

Field

Description

Date

The date you missed clocking. Must be within the last 30 days. Use the date picker to select.

Time

The time you missed clocking, entered in 24-hour format (e.g., 09:30 or 14:45).

Movement

Select whether this is a Clock In or Clock Out request.

Appointment ID

Select the payroll appointment the missed clocking relates to.

Activity

Select the cost centre for this clocking.

Comments

Provide details about why you missed clocking. Maximum 2,000 characters.

All fields are required and must be completed before the request can be submitted. The form validates entries against existing PeopleXD rules before submission.


Submit your missed clocking request

  1. Select the Date you missed clocking (within the last 30 days) and enter the Time in 24-hour format.

  2. Select the Movement (Clock In or Clock Out), Appointment ID, and Activity (cost centre).

  3. Enter a Comment explaining why you missed clocking, then select Send to Approver. A confirmation message is displayed on successful submission.

The request is automatically routed to the manager approval workflow on submission. Once approved, the missed clocking is recorded in PeopleXD and applied to the employee's time and attendance record.

πŸ“ŒNote: Missed clocking requests can only be submitted for dates within the last 30 days. Requests are subject to manager approval before the time and attendance record is updated. Submit requests as soon as possible to avoid impact on pay.


Menu options required

To enable the Submit Missed Clocking quick action, administrators have two options:

Option 1 β€” Navigator Configuration screen

From the Navigator Configuration screen, locate Submit Missed Clocking in the Menu Options list and select Enable. To access Navigator Configuration:

  1. From the Administrator Dashboard, select Site Manager.

  2. Select Open next to Navigator Configuration.

  3. Select the Menu Options Configuration tab.

  4. Locate Missed Clocking in the list and select Enable.

Add the following menu options manually to your menu profile.
