The update to PeopleXD Evo creates a new URL to access PeopleXD. It directs you to the new login process via Access Identity.
As part of your implementation of PeopleXD Evo, your project team will provide new URLs for each of your PeopleXD sites, for example, Live and UAT.
Before your PeopleXD Evo go-live date, we recommend you prepare for the change by taking the following steps:
Plan a communication to your users as part of the update project to let them know they'll use a new link from your go-live date.
Update guides, internal pages, and links to reflect the new URL.
How users access the new URL
In addition to any communication plan you have for your PeopleXD Evo rollout, the following processes direct your users to the new URL.
Process | Description |
Email invitations | The email invitation contains a link that guides users through their first sign-in to PeopleXD Evo. After signing in, they can bookmark the link to Access Evo. 📌 Note: The link in the email is for account set-up only and should not be used for future logins. |
Redirect from the old PeopleXD URL | If a user visits the old URL for standalone PeopleXD, a redirect displays a message informing them of the new login process and automatically directs them to the new PeopleXD Evo URL. ⚠️ Important: If a user hasn't completed their initial account set-up from their invitation email, they may not be able to complete their first login. |
