Troubleshooting
Issue | Guidance | Resolution |
Invalid email address | If you see an 'Invalid email address' validation message on screen, you may be attempting to log in using your old PeopleXD username. Email address is now the required option. During your first login, your email address is pre-filled from the email invitation link. | Enter your email address instead of your old username. |
Set password prompt on future logins | If you're prompted to set a password on future login attempts, you may have clicked the link in the invitation email again. This link is for account creation only and should not be used for subsequent logins to PeopleXD Evo. | Use your PeopleXD Evo URL for all future logins. |
Redirect from old URL without following email invite | If you're redirected to the new URL from the old PeopleXD URL without using the email invitation, you cannot complete your login until you fully verify your account. You must use the link in the invitation email to set your password and complete your first login.
In this scenario, you will see the new login screen when you enter your email and click Next. On the password screen, there is no option to set a password, and you cannot proceed. | Complete your account setup using the invitation you received from Access Evo. π€ Tip: You can use the 'Forgot your password?' link at this stage. An email is sent with a link to reset your password. This only works if you've already been issued the invite to complete your account. Alternatively, your Access Evo administrator can resend the invitation email. |
Additional setup tasks on first or future login | If you're prompted to complete additional setup tasks on first login or during a future login, your company has configured enhanced authentication options for your email domains. | Check with your IT team to see if this was requested by another team in your company. This can occur if another team is rolling out a new Access Evo-enabled product and has configured a more secure login. |

User is asked to provide a password | Check that you've provided an email address with a domain configured for your SSO security policy. If you're using a correct email domain and your Access Identity Security policy has been tested and verified, contact Customer Support for assistance. |
Using the PeopleXD mobile app
When your organisation moves to Access Identity for login, the way you access the PeopleXD mobile app changes depending on whether you're already using the app or downloading it for the first time.
Current users of the app
Users logged in to the app | If you're already logged in to the PeopleXD mobile app when your organisation moves to using Access Identity, you can continue using the app without any immediate changes. You can still use your PIN or device biometric authentication to open the app. |
Users logged out of the app | If you log out of the PeopleXD mobile app after your organisation migrates to Access Identity, you must use your Access Identity credentials to log back in.
The mobile app login process matches the browser version - for example, asking for an email and password or SSO authentication. |
First-time logins
Existing PeopleXD users | If you're an existing PeopleXD user who hasn't downloaded or used the mobile app before, you must use your Access Identity credentials to log in to the PeopleXD app. |
New PeopleXD users | When you're set up as a new user in PeopleXD, you receive an email invitation to complete your account setup.
If you open the invitation email on your mobile device and have downloaded the PeopleXD app, you can complete your first login directly in the app using your Access Identity credentials. |
