As an administrator, you can monitor all allocation tasks in the cycle to track progress and ensure alignment with your organisation’s pay philosophy. Once all tasks are marked Ready for review, move the cycle to the review stage to assess managers' decisions, budget impact, and overall alignment before finalising changes.

Monitor manager tasks
Open the compensation cycle, then click the Allocation tab.
Click Watch submissions.
Use the three tabs to review all managers' tasks:
Tab | Description |
Pay decisions | Review manager decisions for consistency, fairness, and equity. Complete the manager task if needed, following the same process as above. |
Key highlights | Review decisions that are highlighted as possible deviations or outliers from what the pay philosophy suggests, and see budget breakdowns by task. |
Submission status | Monitor the status and progression of each task. Click View Task to make adjustments or complete manager tasks, if required. |
Review stage
The review process brings together all compensation decisions made during the cycle to give you comprehensive oversight and control.
🤓Tip: If you defined a holdback budget during cycle setup, this reserved portion of your total budget was intentionally withheld from manager allocation. During the review stage, this holdback budget becomes available again, giving you flexibility to make strategic compensation adjustments where needed.
Your main tasks during the Review stage are to:
Run an impact analysis to assess proposed changes.
Review all Compensation Decisions against budget and pay philosophy.
Make adjustments using available budget, including holdback funds.
Finalise the review to proceed to communication.
To review and finalise compensation decisions:
Open the compensation cycle, then click the Allocation tab.
Ensure all tasks have the status Ready for review.
Click Start Review, then click Start Review to confirm.
Click Review compensation.
Click Begin impact analysis and review the data.
Review the details in the Budget, Merit Adjustments, Bonus Adjustments, and Equity in Pay sections.

Click Start communication, then review the warning.
Click Start communication to close the review stage.
