You can customise the level of access a user has to Pay Planner functionality in PeopleXD using:

  • User Access - grants access to the Pay Planner dashboard.

  • User Groups - determines what is available to the user within the solution.

User access

To provide a user access to Pay Planner watch the video or follow the steps below.

  1. On the People Management Dashboard and navigate to the Data Centre widget.

  2. Open the People Analytics Configuration option.

  3. Click the User Management tab.

  4. Search for the relevant user or filter by Org Role.

  5. Select the checkbox for the relevant user.

  6. Click the right arrow to move them to the Selected Users column.

  7. Click Save.

User Groups

Once a user has been given User Management access, they can then be assigned the relevant Pay Planner access via User Groups. This determines what is available to them within the solution.

The table below outlines what each user group gives access to.

User Group

Description

Admin User

Create and manage cycles they create or are shared with them. They can also view all cycles, reassign ownership and close all cycles, even those they didn't create.

Manager User

View and manage tasks within their hierarchy they are assigned.

Support User

Support users have the same rights as managers and can be added to tasks by admins to support managers. They can also be assigned to any task, unlike manager users who can only be assigned tasks within their hierarchy.

Assign user group

To assign a user to a user group, watch the video or follow the steps below.

  1. On the People Management Dashboard, navigate to the Data Centre widget.

  2. Beside People Analytics Configuration, click Open then click the User Groups tab.

  3. Select the relevant User Group from the Select User Group menu.

  4. Search for the relevant user or Filter by Org Role.

  5. Select the checkbox for the relevant user.

  6. Click the right arrow to move them to the Selected Users column.

  7. Click Save.

You can now customise data access and enable menu options to complete user pay planner access.
