You can customise the level of access users have to Pay Planner functionality in PeopleXD:
User Access: Grants access to the Pay Planner dashboard.
User Groups: Determines what is available to users within the solution.
User access
To provide a user access to Pay Planner, watch the video or follow the steps below.
From the dashboard menu, search for and select Data Centre.
Next to People Analytics Configuration, click Open.
Click the User Management tab.
Search for and select the relevant users.
Click the right arrow to move the users to the Selected Users column.
Click Save.
User Groups
Once you give a user access, you can assign them the relevant Pay Planner access. This uses user groups and determines what is available to users within Pay Planner.
The table below outlines what each user group gives access to.
User Group | Description |
Admin User | Create and manage cycles you create or cycles shared with you. You can also view all cycles, reassign ownership, and close all cycles, even those you didn't create. |
Manager User | View and manage tasks within your hierarchy that are assigned to you. |
Support User | Support users have the same rights as managers and admins can add them to tasks to support managers. You can also assign them to any task, unlike manager users whom you can only assign tasks within their hierarchy. |
Assign a user group
To assign a user to a user group, watch the video or follow the steps below.
From the dashboard menu, search for and select Data Centre.
Next to People Analytics Configuration, click Open.
Click the User Groups tab.
In the Selected Users section, select a user group from the drop-down list.
Search for and select the relevant users.
Click the right arrow to move the users to the Selected Users column.
Click Save.
You can now customise data access and enable menu options to complete setting up users with Pay Planner access.
