The Leave Summary quick section is a dashboard widget in Access Evo Navigator that surfaces key leave information in a single, convenient location. It displays upcoming leave, pending requests, and leave balances by leave type, all retrieved in real time from XD. This is a read-only view - to book leave, use the Book Leave quick action.
Access the Leave Summary quick section
Log in to Access Evo Navigator.
From the Navigator tab, select the Leave Summary quick section.
The Leave Summary dashboard widget opens, displaying your upcoming leave and leave balances.
What the Leave Summary shows
The Leave Summary is divided into two panels displayed side by side:
Panel | Description |
Upcoming Leave (left panel) | Displays a Book Time Off button to navigate to the Book Leave quick action. Shows the Next Approved Leave date, leave type, and how many days away it is. Also shows summary counts for Upcoming Leave, Pending Requests, and Future Approved Leave. Select the arrow beside each row to see further detail. |
Leave Balances (right panel) | Displays leave balances for each leave type associated with your appointment. Use the Appointment dropdown to filter balances by a specific appointment or view All Appointments. Each leave type card shows the leave type name, balance label, a progress bar, hours available, and Total / Used / Pending hours. |
Leave balance information is shown in hours. The progress bar on each leave type card indicates how much of the total entitlement has been used. The Leave Balances panel can be filtered by appointment using the Appointment dropdown.
Book leave from the Leave Summary
In the Upcoming Leave panel, select Book Time Off to navigate to the Book Leave quick action.
Select your appointment, leave type, and dates in the Book Leave quick action, then submit your request.
Once submitted, the request will appear in your Pending Requests count on the Leave Summary, and your leave balance will update once the request is approved.
Leave data is retrieved in real time from XD. Balances and request counts update automatically as leave is approved or taken. The Leave Summary is a read-only view β leave requests must be submitted through the Book Leave quick action.
πNote: If your leave balances appear incorrect, contact your HR or payroll administrator. Leave types and balances shown depend on your appointment and entitlements configured in XD.
