PeopleXD dashboards now appear directly in the Access Button Products Menu, giving you one-click access to open each dashboard as its own tab. No configuration is needed, and your existing permissions stay the same.
What is changing?
Instead of a single "PeopleXD" option in the Access Button menu, each user's individual dashboards, such as Employee Dashboard or Manager Dashboard, now appear directly in the Access Button.
Users can open each dashboard as its own tab, side by side, in just one click. No need to open PeopleXD first and then switch dashboards from inside the app.
Nothing has changed about user access or permissions. Each user will only see the dashboards they already use.
What will users see?
đNote: Users will only ever see the dashboards they are already authorised to access. No permissions change. No one gains or loses access.
For example:
Role | Before | Now |
Employee | PeopleXD | Employee Dashboard |
Manager | PeopleXD | Employee Dashboard, Manager Dashboard |
HR Admin | PeopleXD | Employee Dashboard, People Management, Workforce Management, Insight etc (i.e. whatever admin dashboards they use today) |
Why are we making this change?
The Access Button is evolving into the single, consistent navigation point for all PeopleXD functionality within Evo. Surfacing dashboards directly in the Access Button:
Removes the need to navigate inside a tab to switch dashboards.
Makes it faster and more intuitive to open multiple dashboards side by side.
Aligns with the long-term direction of the PeopleXD Evo experience, where the Access Button is the primary navigation.
Do I need to do anything?
System administrators do not need to take any action. The change applies automatically and requires no configuration.
