If a user is set up in PeopleXD People Management without a valid email, their account is known as a username account.
To configure a user’s account, follow the steps below:
To view all employees in People Management that have not synced to Access Evo (previously Workspace), on the System Users widget, filter for non-synced accounts.
🤓Tip: Alternatively, if your employee is not already in PeopleXD, add them to PeopleXD as a new starter.
Enable the username toggle for the relevant user.
Click the three dot icon then select Manage Account.
Click Run Sync then click OK.
🤓Tip: If successful, the user views a Sync job has completed message.
Set a temporary password for the user from Access Evo.
Share the password with the user.
🤓Tip: Once the employee logs in for the first time, they can reset their own password.
Once the user has been synced successfully, they appear in All Active Access Evo Accounts.
📌Note: If you add an email contact type for a user with a username account, the sync switches the user to an Access Evo email account and sends an invite email to the employee.
