If a user is set up in PeopleXD People Management without a valid email, their account is known as a username account.
To configure a user’s account, follow the steps below:
To view all employees in People Management that have not synced to Access Evo (previously Workspace), on the System Users widget, filter for non-synced accounts.
Tip: Alternatively, if your employee is not already in PeopleXD, add them to PeopleXD as a new starter.
Enable the username toggle for the relevant user.
Click the three dot
icon and select Manage Account.
Click Run Sync then click OK.
Tip: If successful, the user views a Sync job has completed message.
Set a temporary password for the user from Access Evo.
Share the password with the user.
Tip: Once the employee logs in for the first time, they can reset their own password.
Once the user has been synced successfully, they appear in All Active Access Evo Accounts.
Note: If you add an email contact type for a user with a username account, the sync switches the user to an Access Evo email account and sends an invite email to the employee.
