The reason all the trip IDs are not showing is because in back office if a Trip Id has multiple rows with the exact same data . The way insights were designed, multiple rows with the same data would be seen as duplicates and grouped to one.
β
For the Insights report, the Trip ID is not a unique enough identifier but by including the Trip Detail Id, it is possible to see the four rows with the same information separately because the Trip Detail Id is unique.
β
The grouping is determined by the report's columns. Queries with grouping do not display duplicate rows, and these rows are seen as duplicates by Insights because there is no differentiation between these rows, trip Id, expense code, dates, and amounts all are seen the same. When you add the trip detailed ID column, those rows are no longer duplicates because the trip detailed ID makes each row unique and produces the expected results.
