A scheduled Insight report will be sent to the report owner only when the 'Share with employee' sharing method is used and the include report owner option is enabled. When the 'Share with org role/group' method is used the report owner is excluded even if the owner is in the selected org role/group and is listed under recipients.
Scheduled report not sent to the report owner
When a scheduled Insight report is shared with an org role it is not sent to the report owner even though the report owner has the relevant org role and is returned under recipients.
