Access Evo: Auto assign menu profiles

Steps to auto-assign menu profiles when a user logs in to Access Evo.

When the employee logs in for the first time, they activate their Identity account and they receive a menu profile depending on how you set up the rules.


You can auto-assign menu profiles by setting a default menu profile, or using a menu profile matrix.

Use a default menu profile

To set up a default menu profile that all new starters automatically gets assigned follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Evo Configuration widget on the Security dashboard.

  2. Open Evo Menu Matrix.

  3. Select a Default Menu Profile from the list.

  4. Click Save.


Use a menu profile matrix

To use a menu profile matrix so users automatically gets a profile based on matrix rules, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Evo Configuration widget on the Security dashboard.

  2. Open Evo Menu Matrix.

  3. Turn on the Matrix Rules toggle.

  4. Click Save.

Set up your menu profile matrix

To configure the matrix rules, follow the steps below.

  1. From the dashboard menu, select People Management.

  2. Click Data Centre then click VIEW ALL.

  3. Search for and click Menu Profile Matrix.

  4. From the drop-down menu, select Employee Account Provisioning.

  5. Click Add then fill in the details.

  6. To save changes, click Save.
