To understand which pay codes relate to the complete set of payroll and benefits provided to employees as part of their employment. The TCOW includes only those pay codes that incur a cost to the employer.

Allowances

Allowance pay codes are specified in the pay code report under the column "Deduction Allowance Ind" as "Allowance." It is essential to map those allowance pay codes that result in an expense for the employer, including but not limited to basic pay, overtime, and commission.
