Create external users in PeopleXD Evo

Create external user accounts with username and password credentials so they can access PeopleXD Evo.

If PeopleXD access is needed for someone who is not a company employee, such as a contractor or auditor, you need to create them as an external user.

External users are created in PeopleXD Security and automatically sync with Access Evo Members as username accounts.

To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. From the dashboard menu, search for and select External Users.

  2. Click CREATE EXTERNAL USER, then fill in the following details:

    • Username

    • Forename

    • Surname

    • Password

  3. Click Save.

Share login details with the user

You need to share the account information with external users manually, as automated invitations are not available. After creating the external user, share the following details with them directly:

  • The PeopleXD Evo URL

  • Their username

  • Their password

πŸ“ŒNote: If the user forgets their password, you need to manually reset it in Access Evo members.


Revoke access for an external user

To revoke the access for an external user, follow the steps below.

  1. From the dashboard menu, search for and select External Users.

  2. Search for the user, then click the three-dot menu.

  3. Click Drop/Delete User.
