For importing into CoreInsight using the Oracle Discoverer BI Report Importer, follow the steps below in Portal.
From the dashboard menu, select Insight.
Go to Discoverer Importer. All prepared reports are displayed here i.e. both “Imported” and “Unimported”.
Search for the report. Use the search field to search based on the report name or workbook name.
Click View for the required report. This displays the list of columns that make up the report.

Position
Columns can be re-ordered. Either drag the field to its new desired position or enter in the new position manually by clicking on the number.
Column Name This is the original CoreBI column name.
New Column Name This is what the imported column name is and what it is shown as in CoreInsight once imported
Click Import
A message confirms that the report has been successfully imported. The status of the report is then updated to 'Imported'
All Discovery BI reports must be prepared and meet set conditionalities before they appear to be imported into Core Insights
Only tabular reports, (not crosstabs), can be imported and the reports are imported as Read Only, e.g. it will not be possible to add columns etc.
