Create Insight report for annual leave

How to create a report that shows annual leave given, taken, booked, and remaining.

Insight enables you to produce a report on annual leave balances for each employee. For guidance, follow the steps below.

πŸ“ŒNote: You cannot produce a report for future year balances. If you need this, contact our Optimisation Services team for a customised report. This is a chargeable service.

  1. From the dashboard menu, search for and select Insight.

  2. Click ACTIONS, then select Create Report.

  3. Enter a report title, then click OK.

  4. Under Select a setting, select Columns.

  5. Click ADD, then select Column.

  6. In Filter Columns by View, search for and select Person Balance History (Time).

  7. In Search Data, locate and select the data to include in the report, then click OK.

    πŸ€“Tip: You can include the following data items:

    • Person Reference.

    • Balance Code.

    • Balance Description.

    • Period.

    • Opening Balance.

    • Opening Floating.

    • Opening Carry Forward.

    • Opening Taken.

    • Closing Floating.

    • Closing Carried Forward.

    • Closing Taken.

    • Closing Balance.

  8. Add filters if you need to limit the date returned.

  9. Click Refresh Data to run the report.
