Schema Change Updates Provided by Access
C25025.xsd (Schema)
Reordering of the C25025.xsd file so that the position of Contract.REFUOA2029 to conform with the HESA standard for XML schema ordering.
Person.Nation (Schema)
Valid entry 97 (Not known) has replaced ZZ (Not Known) and related guidance updated to reflect this.
Person. PREVHEI (Schema)
Valid entries updated to reflect new providers and name changes.
Person.PARLEAVE (Valid)
Valid entries have been updated to include 6 'Neonatal care leave' and associated guidance has also been updated.
Non-Schema Changes β Customer Requirement
Please note there are non-schema changes outlined by HESA for the Staff 20245/2026 that can be found here, that will require your attention and require you to update your reference data within the HESA module to reflect new coding and label changes for the fields that HESA has outlined above.

πNote: This is a non-schema change but we included it as part of the Access changes to add the entry (6 'Neonatal care leave').
You can manage these updates within the HESA module within the HESA Record Type screen, highlight the field in question, and then select the HESA Reference Data item from the Options menu. You can start updating your HESA field reference data to align to the latest coding changes outlined.
Action Required
Please review the 2025/26 HESA Staff Collection specification changes published by HESA and assess the impact on your PXD HESA solution, i.e. what needs to change to ensure that your Staff Collection return meets the new requirements/specification. These changes will require updates to PXD configuration & data which must be completed by each HE Provider.
How this version will be made available
This release will be applied as part of PeopleXD Automatic Patch 28.0.149.
