When a contract has a commenced appointment sequence, the end date on that sequence will remain NULL.
Each night a job runs which checks for appointments with a future start date.
When an appointment has a start date for that night, the job updates the status on that to commenced and it updates the status on the previous commenced appointment to ended. It is only then that the end date is populated on that previous commenced appointment.
It is not possible to report on end dates for current commenced appointments where there is also a future appointment sequence.
Current Commenced Appointment does not show an end date on report when there is a future appointment
Employees have contracts where the current appointment is commenced and there is a future appointment sequence as well. When reporting on these appointments, we would like to see the future end date displaying for the current commenced appointment.
